SeeWandel-Klima Faltblatt erschienen
Es wird erwartet, dass sich das Ökosystem des Bodensees in den nächsten Jahrzehnten aufgrund der Wechselwirkungen zwischen der fortschreitenden Klimaerwärmung und invasiven Arten, wie der weiteren Ausbreitung der Quaggamuschel, erheblich verändern wird. Das Projekt SeeWandel-Klima hat zum Ziel, Projektionen zur Abschätzung der Folgen des Klimawandels und der Auswirkungen invasiver Arten auf das Ökosystem Bodensee und dessen nachhaltige Nutzung zu erstellen.

Vorsicht blinde Passagiere
Schiffsmelde- und -reinigungspflicht zum Schutz der Gewässer gegen gebietsfremde Arten
Schiffe, welche das Gewässer wechseln, können gebietsfremde Arten verschleppen. Deshalb gilt seit Sommer 2024 eine Schiffsmelde- und -reinigungspflicht (kurz: SMRP) in den Zentralschweizer Kantonen Luzern, Nid- und Obwalden, Schwyz, Uri und Zug, sowie im Kanton Bern. Im Frühling 2025 sind die Kantone Zürich, Glarus, St. Gallen und Graubünden dazugekommen.
Wer ein immatrikuliertes Schiff in einem der erwähnten Kantone einwassern will, muss dies vorgängig auf einer digitalen Plattform melden und das Schiff in einer autorisierten Reinigungsstelle reinigen lassen. Die SMRP gilt auch bei einem Gewässerwechsel innerhalb eines Kantons.
